Visiting the Gallery in Banská Bystrica

In Thursday Afternoon we again visited a Gallery in B.Bystrica . The name of exhibition was NATURAL MATERIALS !   It was exhibition by two artists Richard Loskot from Czech republic  and Michal Šimonfy from Slovakia . 

So when we walked to the first room I saw a few mirrors and one spotlight . the light were shining between these few mirrors . I think it was boring simple thing and its not interesting but maybe I am not right because I didnt understand it . 

The green circle in the back is some graph with Born and death .

Then we saw 3 other  things but for me the most interesting think was the ˝circle of life˝ . It was some construction where we can saw a rain , wind , light (day) , dark (night) , some sounds , dog barking and other ..


This visiting gallery was better then the previous exhibitions !

Secession in Slovakia

~~>The term Art Nouveau is commonly referred to arts groups and tendencies of that during the turn of the 19th and 20 century called. "Belle Époque", which were forming in European cultural centers.

~~> We were in the gallery in Banska Bystrica, where we were to learn something about Secession art and look at paintings of Secession Art.

Kitsch & POP Art

On the last  lesson we learn some about Kitchs and POP Art and I will show you some examples of these two arts .

At first I show you my little fridge magnet I think it is a kitch . It is only one kitch in my house . My parents and me dont like statues , garden gnomes and other colorful or sentimental things .

Kitsch is most commonly used to describe art thats consider

overly sentimental ,pretentious or banal .It´s used to dismiss                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  such art as being in bad taste or poor quality , 

or simply for  having too much mass appeal.

                                                 POP ART

 Pop Art is an Art movement that emerged in the mid  of 1950s in the Britain and in the late of 1950s in the United States.

Is it to react against ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM .

Visiting the gallery

Recently our class visited a Gallery in Banská Bystrica . I never been there because I haven´t reason to go to the Gallery .  Although I did not enjoy it but there was a lot of pictures where were bridges , boats , airships . This pictures are from ink

and  drawed by  Maria Corejova .Although I did not enjoy it but there was a lot of pictures where were bridges , boats , airships . This pictures are drawed by  Maria Corejova . Probably she showing how  the life flowing and sometimes you have a bad day like as sunken boat but sometimes you have a good day when you feel free as you sail on the boat in the sea .

Validation(2007)

This is short ˝motivational˝ film about smile which makes the life more beautiful. The main character is Hugh Newman which working in the end of the dark hall on the car park and he validates customers tickets for parking Normal boring job, right? But why is in front of him such a queue? But Hugh is different from another employees who doing this job !He tell everybody some of compliments  ˝You are awesome , you are hard working you are so pretty and a lot of another compliments˝ and of course he always smiles on everybody ! He makes it because he loves when are people smiling.But one day when he goes take a photo to the driver's license he met the woman Victoria who wasn´t smiling . He wanted to see her smile. A very long time he persuaded her and in the end he gave up and stopped laughing also. One day a young couple asked him if he could take a picture of them beside UNIVERSE globe !( studio which makes films ). He told them that  they can smile but saw that it isn´t really smile. Afte he made smile on their faces and started taking a photos . He got a  job of photographer .Next day he ran next to a woman in a wheelchair and asked her what she loves most in the world. She said that  her daughter because she has a beautiful smile. After he wanted to go find Victoria to her job but she wasn´t there . There was a nervous man who didnt smiling . When suddenly he saw series of people who waiting for a photo .He just ran to the building where the people waiting and saw a Victoria . Victoria saw him and she started smiling .He came to her and she started saying the story of when her mother had been ill and she  was very sad that she forgot laughing. She told him that they didnt smiling for a three years and yesterday her mother came home with a smile and mother said that one man made a smile on her face .. (Her mother was a lady in wheelchair.) . Finally they began living together and they lived happily with a smile on his face until death ! :)

And you don't forget the SMILE is very important !

Never back down (2008)

Never back down is my favourite film . The film is directed by Jeff WADLOW . It´s very motivational film about differents martial arts . This is my favourite film because I very like motivational films , always they will motivate me .  A fight club for high-schoolers , ˝Never back down˝ offers extreme fighting as the modern-day alternative to sex , drugs and rock n roll ! I don´t know what will I say but if you love motivational films so this film is for you ! You will must see !
